louder than cars

A SOUND PROTEST

A symphony of repurposed sounds and collective action.

Discarded trash becomes instruments,

yellow sacks of organic waste transform into the coziest seats.

As vehicles pass—cars, motorcycles, or trucks—we respond.

Our music rises to outmatch their roar.

Our performance amplifies not just the discarded materials but

also encourages individuals to find their voice, to speak up,

to stand out.

We’re questioning the tolerated loudness of cars, responding to

urban noise pollution by making a sound of our own.

Later, a group will join in, voices and instruments blending into a

powerful crescendo that drowns out the vehicles altogether.

A collective act of resistance.
